Isn’t it funny how nowadays you can maintain friendships from thousands of miles away or years of not being in the same place? And then comes the one anomaly where everything seems to magically align, and you get to be with folks that you’ve shared amazing times with.
This past weekend was one of those times, and for me it felt like a nice way to cap off the time I spent with my friends I met up at Malibu last summer. Not as though I’m leaving those times behind, but this time we had together felt like a fitting sweet farewell but not goodbye forever. Almost like the last paragraph of a chapter I’ve had in my life, and I couldn’t be more excited to see what titles the next chapter that awaits.

“𝐇𝐨𝐰 𝐬𝐨𝐨𝐧 𝐰𝐢𝐥𝐥 𝐈 𝐞𝐱𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐚 𝐦𝐞𝐦𝐨𝐫𝐲 𝐈 𝐰𝐢𝐬𝐡 𝐈 𝐜𝐨𝐮𝐥𝐝 𝐫𝐞-𝐥𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐰𝐡𝐞𝐧 𝐈’𝐦 𝐨𝐥𝐝𝐞𝐫?”

With summer approaching faster than I can imagine I urge each of you to think on that, and to live as if you’re running on a timetable, because you are. The time we have here is so finite, and I absolutely had no reserves making sure I told my friends how much I cared about them this past weekend. Your time here is ticking, so live like it counts. Doesn’t that sound familiar?
